Before you write in
Choose something classic, polished, and comfortable that feels like you. Solid, neutral colours such as black, navy, grey, and white tend to photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your face. Well-fitting, tailored pieces create a clean, professional look, while busy patterns and large logos can be distracting. For individual headshots, I can often be fairly flexible and may be able to fit you in on shorter notice, depending on my schedule. For teams and larger groups, I recommend booking several weeks to a few months in advance to ensure we can find a date that works for everyone. For individual sessions, your date is secured once the photography agreement is signed and the session fee is paid. Larger team bookings can be invoiced, with the booking confirmed once the required agreement and payment arrangements are in place.
Retouching is about polishing, not changing who you are. It includes removing temporary blemishes and stray hairs, subtle skin smoothing, smoothing the background, and gently brightening eyes and teeth. Major alterations to your appearance or smoothing heavily wrinkled clothing are not included.
Absolutely. Team headshots can be photographed in the studio or on location, depending on the size of your team and what works best for your company. I’ll coordinate with your designated contact to plan the schedule, keep everyone moving efficiently, and maintain a consistent look across the entire team. I can also work around busy schedules, provide guidance to each person individually, and make sure the final images feel cohesive and professional across your website, LinkedIn, and other company materials.
Yes—and you don’t necessarily need to gather everyone for a new group photo every time someone joins or leaves. I can photograph each team member individually and create a composite group portrait, allowing new employees to be added and departing employees to be removed over time. It’s an efficient way to keep your team photo current while maintaining a consistent, polished look.
