On Choosing Film for a Wedding Day

Film is not nostalgia for its own sake — it changes how a day is photographed. Thirty-six frames a roll means fewer, more considered shots, and a kind of patience that digital rarely enforces on its own.

We usually shoot both: digital for coverage, film for the dozen frames that matter most. The blend costs more and delivers slower, but the grain does something a filter cannot fake.
